I'm in Miami!
This past weekend, which I wrote about in my last post, my best friend was in town visiting from Miami. With spring break coming up, I was supposed to go home to D.C on Friday, but last minute decided to change my entire spring break plan. I decided to go to Miami yesterday afternoon until Sunday, and then I will go back to D.C. While I am here, not only am I seeing my best friend again who was just in town but I am also seeing many other friends that live here too. Currently I am in Boca at my friends place writing this blog. I cannot remember that last time I was in Miami or Boca. I love it here, its so nice. I graduate in May, and I think I found the general area of where I want to move when I graduate. I plan on moving back to D.C this summer after I graduate and work for a bit, but I think then in the Fall I want to move down to Florida. I know so many people here, including close, long time friends, as well as family, it already feels like home. Plus, when I mentioned this to my mom, she said that her and my stepdad have been considering moving to Boca or South Beach for the past few months, but would not move out of D.C if I was still living there, so when I mentioned Boca, it happens to all work out!

Friday Night Fun...
Last night, Friday, was the free Mac Miller concert on campus. My friends opened for them, VIBE. I was so proud of them for their performance! They really are going to go places, like last night opening for one of the newest, hottest, independent artists on the rise, Mac Miller! I am friendly with one of Mac Miller's friends, Jimmy, and so when the concert was over I met up with him behind the stage. We went back to my place and hung out with a few friends, and then went to the Mac Miller after party at club DV8. This club is really not a great club, not compared to where I'm from in D.C. Anyways, when we got there, we met up with Mac and his whole crew and just partied and had the time of our lives. It was honestly so much fun! It was also a really cool experience hanging with all of them, as I really respect Mac for his independent work at such a young age, and truly becoming such a great talent! His DJ got up on the stage at the club to DJ the rest of the night and we all just swarmed the stage from the back VIP room and just danced the night away. When the club closed, we all went back to the hotel and continued to hang until they had to leave at 5am to continue their tour in California. I met some interesting people last night, as well as made some new friends. I will definitely be keeping in touch with them all, as we talked about coordinating some business deals with Nike. My dad is Michael Jordan's agent, is the vice chairman of the NBA Bobcats, and owns half of Nike. Mac Miller has an old song, one of his firsts, "Nike's on my feet," and we talked about doing a Nike commercial with him. This is going to be a great story in the end. :)
